The Community Resiliency Model® (CRM) is a practical, body-based set of wellness skills designed to help individuals manage stress, restore balance, and build resilience by working with the biology of the nervous system. In our private 1:1 sessions, you will learn and apply six core CRM® skills that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and nervous system health—no therapy or clinical background required.
🛠️ CRM® Skills and Their Purposes
Tracking
Purpose: Learn to notice and name physical sensations in the body, helping you reconnect with your present-moment experience. Tracking increases body awareness and allows you to identify when you’re in or out of your Resilient Zone.Resourcing
Purpose: Activate inner strength and safety by recalling personal or imagined people, places, or things that bring peace or comfort. Resourcing helps regulate the nervous system and shift focus from distress to stability.Grounding
Purpose: Anchor yourself in the present through physical connection with surfaces like a chair or the floor. Grounding helps reduce anxiety, racing thoughts, and dissociation by fostering a sense of safety and “here-and-now” awareness.Gesturing
Purpose: Use natural, self-soothing movements to support nervous system regulation. Gestures can arise spontaneously and help express or reinforce positive emotional shifts and personal empowerment.Help Now! Strategies
Purpose: Learn a variety of simple, immediate actions to restore balance when overwhelmed or out of your Resilient Zone. These tools are easy to use, accessible anytime, and can be especially helpful in moments of acute stress.Shift and Stay
